Since weeks I agonize over a CD layout... How can you just make a decent artwork for real good electronic breaks without copying Autechre? Especially when the musician has a clear vision of what he wants and want he wants definitely not. I even start thinking in 12 x 12cm. This has to end somehow... Now I don't know why I wrote this down...

running a label is mostly great. you get in touch with some of the most interesting individuals, you offer space to something that matters and means much to you. you support art and the people behind it. and you get others some work. you make them produce your records, make them print your bookleds and flyers and you pay them. that's just fair. and then... there's your new record which appears like from out of nowhere. something new and unique has appeared on the face of the planet and everybody is so happy and greatful about it. F*** THAT! the industry gives you s*** and isn't interested in your wacky ambitions at all. you're just an annoin
