running a label is mostly great. you get in touch with some of the most interesting individuals, you offer space to something that matters and means much to you. you support art and the people behind it. and you get others some work. you make them produce your records, make them print your bookleds and flyers and you pay them. that's just fair. and then... there's your new record which appears like from out of nowhere. something new and unique has appeared on the face of the planet and everybody is so happy and greatful about it.
F*** THAT! the industry gives you s*** and isn't interested in your wacky ambitions at all. you're just an annoing midget and they don't give a flying f*** about the deadlines you have.
you wanna make 300 copies of what? vinyl? that s*** doesn't pay in any plausible case. so carry your ass back into the hole you've just been crawling out of and wait until WE let you know about when WE are willing to hand over your crappy records.
but it's ok for us if you pay in advance!
